Stress, emotional regulation, anxiety, and life transitions are common difficulties experienced by most people. However, when these issues began to negatively impact your life or become too much to handle sometimes, we need help identifying tools and strategies to resolve these issues and achieve our goals. We can work together to learn the tools and skills to cope, grow, and reconnect with yourself and loved ones. Together we can build a more empowering and adaptive way to handle life’s challenges.

The goal of my practice is to build off our natural strengths to improve our relational, emotional, and communicational skills. From there we can look past the behaviours to find the underlying reasons and work together to make and achieve your goals.

As a therapist, I value your lived experiences and work from am eclectic approach. My theoretical orientation is in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative, social emotional learning, trauma informed, experiential, and humanistic. It is important for me to build a safe, non-judgmental place to explore issues and collaborate together to problem solve solutions. I work with individuals on issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, trauma, relational, family issues, stress, major life-changes, emotional dysregulation, bullying, and burnout.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Concordia University and and a Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. My previous work history includes, ESL teacher, Crisis line, Youth protections, and Child Counsellor at the OCCRC. My practice is supervised by Phaedra Gryz, Registered Psychotherapist, and Zara Canteenwalla, Registered Social Worker.
